Mud Season Magic: Multimedia Techniques for Illustration
This all-levels class will cover techniques for combining media such as ink, watercolor, gouache, pencil, and oil pastel for vibrantly layered compositions with rich textures and depth. Students will put color theory principles into practice by learning approaches for inverting and mixing colors in their composition, and explore innovative approaches to mark-making.

Illustrating Nature With Watercolor and Ink
This class welcomes all skill levels to master dip pen and ink techniques, and integrate them with watercolor. Each week, students will delve into different subjects including botanicals, celestial scenes, and landscapes. At the end of the course, students will have a variety of beautiful projects worthy of framing, and expertise
in watercolor and dip pen techniques.

Nature Journaling (for teens)
Spend time in and outside the library drawing and painting and writing about nature. Then bring your journal to the library to be part of an art display at the library. Journalers will be given all supplies.

One-Day Workshop
Students of all skill levels will learn dip pen and ink techniques, and integrate them with watercolor. Rather than creating a formulaic step-by-step painting, you will be given tools for innovation and experimentation, and will finish the day with a totally unique painting of your bouquet.
