Maine Lake House

A commissioned painting of a Maine lake house, surrounded by multiple generations of family during a summer sunset.
Created with watercolor, ink, and gouache. I used masking fluid throughout the painting process to preserve layers of color, light, and shadow.
This cottage is a place that has been in our family since our boys were born.
It is a place that holds so many wonderful, special memories and Claire Baldwin captured that perfectly in her painting!
This painting is one we will cherish for years to come. I would highly recommend Claire Baldwin. She was very easy to communicate with and her painting definitely exceeded expectations!
