Logo Design for Dirigo Farms Catering Co. 

In 2025, Claire Loon Baldwin collaborated with Dirigo Farms Catering Co. to create a versatile, hand-lettered logo featuring watercolor and ink illustrations of heirloom produce.

Dirigo Farms Catering Co. is a farm-to-table catering company run by a small but mighty team in Maine. They needed an adaptable logo designed to shine everywhere from wood-burned signs, to business cards, to the side of their van. They sought out Claire after seeing her watercolor heirloom tomatoes, and asked that the logo design include a red and gold cherry tomato that was a surprise hybrid from their own garden.

To ensure easy use, the primary logo was designed to be easily disassembled into a wordmark and icon. The illustrations framing the lettering were created by hand with pen and ink and watercolor, and scanned at a high resolution for crisp display on large-scale signage. ​

The final result is a hardworking, handmade logo,  just as bespoke and artisanal as Dirigo Farms' delicious food.
